The current NBA formed in 2012. We now have more than 30 members, and whilst most of our members are independent business owners, all businesses are welcome to join and have a voice.
We want; safer roads, better parking & signage, a good community spirit, happy retailers, happy shoppers and good amenities. We want Newport to be a thriving town, with no empty shops and less traffic congestion.
Hopefully you want these things too?
Well, firstly, we are stronger in a team! We can pool resources & ideas, support each other’s activities, work together on projects, provide feedback and views and get to know each other better. We are already proving that we DO have the power to make and encourage change (see below).
